Execute JavaScript Code Action
The Execute JavaScript Code Action executes the specified JavaScript code, either immediately, or by setting a timeout, after which the code is executed.
Options
- Specification Method: specifies whether the next field contains a JavaScript function name (which is executed without arguments), JavaScript code, or the ID of a TriggerNote Trigger. If it is a TriggerNote Trigger ID, the Trigger is first evaluated to see if it is in a triggered state, and if it is, it's actions are executed.
- Value: the function name, JavaScript code, or Trigger ID.
- Delay Time: if set to zero (0), the code is executed immediately, before continuing to any other actions. If it is non-zero, a timeout is set, after which the code is executed asynchronously.
- Operation: specified whether to execute or schedule the code, or to cancel an existing timeout.
- Variable to Store Timer ID in: when setting a timeout, you may optionally specify the name of a JavaScript variable to store the timeout's resource identifier in to enable you to cancel it before it executes. When cancelling a timeout, the name of the JavaScript variable is required.
- Maximum Times: the maximum number of times that this Action will execute before it ignores all future events. The counter resets when the page is reloaded. If set to a negative value, it will execute an unlimited number of times.
