Date/Time Trigger
The Date/Time Trigger compares the current date and time to the specified value, and triggers if the specified criteria are met. This Trigger's state may change while the browser window is open as time passes.
Options
- Trigger When: specify the desired relationship to the specified time (before, after, etc.) Optionally specify the name of a JavaScript variable which holds the comparison time. If left blank, the the date/time fields below are used instead.
- Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute: specify one or more of these to determine when to Trigger. If contiguous fields are specified, they are considered together. For example, if the criteria "at or after after" is selected, and the year and month are set to March and 2016, then the Trigger will fire in January 2017, since it is after March 2016, even though January is not after March. If gaps are left between fields, then each is considered individually. For example, if the year is set to 2016, and the day of the month is set to 15, but the month is left blank, then the Trigger will not fire on February 1, 2017, even though that is after January 15, 2017. Instead, it will fire only on or after the 15th of the current month in years beginning with 2016.
- Trigger Only After: specify whether to check the cookie after the entire page has loaded, or whether only to wait for the DOM to be loaded and parsed (without waiting for such things as images).
- Maximum Times: the maximum number of times that this Trigger will fire before it ignores all future events. The counter resets when the page is reloaded. If set to a negative value, it will fire an unlimited number of times.
