Exit Interstitial Recipe
This Recipe watches for clicks on links leading away from your website. When one is detected, it displays contents loaded from a specified URL in a hovering box on the page. The rest of the page is grayed out. If the visitor dismisses the hovering box, they are immediately sent to the link they originally clicked.
This Recipe is especially useful on websites with many outbound links, such as curation-based blogs.
Options
- URL of Content Source: the URL from which to load the content. This should be the URL of an HTML fragment, not a complete HTML page.
- Width of Hover Box: the desired width of the hover box, specified using CSS syntax.
